The Whole Therapist®

A holistic integration course for psychotherapists ready to deepen their care- and their impact!

As clinicians, we know the mind-body connection is vital, yet most therapists lack the training and support to confidently integrate wholistic interventions into therapy.

Do any of these resonate with your practice?

-01-You’ve learned the importance of nervous system regulation - but not how to actually apply this knowledge with clients.

You understand the why- but the how still feels unclear.
Many trainings explain why nervous system regulation matters, but few show you how to confidently lead clients through it in a clinical setting.

-02-You want to integrate holistic tools like breathwork or movement but worry: Am I staying in my scope of practice?

You care about ethics and scope of practice - and it keeps you second-guessing.
You're passionate about holistic healing, but unsure if using certain tools in session is appropriate or if it veers into other professions' territory.

-03-Your clients rarely follow through between session-and you're not sure how to inspire engagement.

You give your clients powerful tools - so why aren’t they using them?
Even when clients nod along in session, they often struggle to integrate breathwork or regulation practices into their daily lives.

You’re committed to this work, but not sure where to start!

...If any of this resonates with you, you’re exactly where you need to be.

I’ve spent years dedicated to helping therapists confidently and naturally integrate holistic practices into their clinical work.

You're not alone!
These questions arise for even the most experienced and well-trained therapists.

Therapists are expanding their tools- and the science backs them up!

Integrating mind-body practices leads to:
 More effective nervous system regulation
  Deeper trauma processing
Developing a heightened awareness of internal body sensations (noticing & naming)
Fostering the creation of new neural pathways
Experiencing "embodied insights" - moving from intellectual understanding to true bodily awareness of change.

Dr. Shanti brings a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience to the class and presents the material in a manner that is very down-to-earth. She leaves you wanting more!

She's down to earth and realistic and I appreciate it. How incredibly useful and life-changing being able to utilize this with clients...I love re-orienting, the gentle reminders of why (all that beautiful research), and how to go about it. Languaging was really important, both hearing another's and finding my own.

S.Y.

She's absolutely amazing at breaking down information and providing non-textbook answers, and putting them into real life examples...This training was absolutely fabulous and I would recommend it to any and everyone.

E.L.

It was helpful to have visuals, practicing of techniques, stories, and verbal education. The teaching approach was very helpful for me.

Why Holistic Integration Matters Now More Than Ever

Therapy is evolving—because clients are evolving.

More than ever, people are seeking care that honors both mind and body. They're looking for therapists who can guide them beyond insight alone - into practices that foster true regulation, resilience, and healing.

As clinicians, staying rooted in evidence-based care while expanding your tools isn’t just a professional growth opportunity…it’s how we meet the deeper needs of those we serve.

  • Mind-body interventions enhance outcomes, deepen client engagement, and support long-term transformation.
  • The demand is growing - for therapists who can confidently offer integrative care without overstepping scope or sacrificing ethics.
  • And the truth is - there’s no perfect moment to start. There’s only now.

You don’t need to overhaul your approach.

You simply need a clear, grounded path to weave holistic practices into the incredible work you’re already doing.

  • Noticing your own sense of calm and presence deepening - even during intense or complex sessions.

  • Hearing clients reflect back how these practices are helping them between sessions, not just during them.

  • Watching clients grow as they begin to trust the process - and themselves - more fully.

Let's look at what we'll cover

Module 1: Root to Rise: Laying the Groundwork

Discover the essential foundation for integrating holistic practices into therapy. This module explores the nervous system, Polyvagal Theory, and the science behind whole-health interventions, giving you the "why" before the "how."

Module 2: Safe Soil: Trauma Sensitive Language, Dissociation, & Honoring Identities

Learn how to skillfully guide holistic practices using intentional tone, pacing, and trauma-sensitive language. This lesson explores the art of "languaging" and provides a gentle framework for finding your own voice while supporting clients through their experiences.

Module 3: Holding the Thread: Increasing Motivation & Sustaining Growth

Explore the real barriers to sustained behavior change and discover why minimal change is exceptional. This lesson examines common human and therapist obstacles, the neuroscience of habit formation, and practical approaches to creating sustainable rituals and routines.

Module 4:The Inner Work of Being a Healer: The Wounded Healer, Burnout & Ethics

Explore burnout as both a systemic and ethical issue, examining the wounded healer archetype and the concept of "unparalleled paralleling." This lesson addresses how unresolved personal wounds, institutional pressures, and compassion fatigue affect both client outcomes and therapist integrity.

Module 5: Cultural Humility and Ethics in Whole Health Practice: Inclusive Care in Integrative Mental Health

Explore the critical distinction between cultural competence and cultural humility as they apply to whole-health interventions. This module addresses power dynamics, intersecting identities, minority stress, and ethical frameworks from NASW and APA, while examining appropriation, stereotyping, and how to co-create truly inclusive care.

Module 6: Our Inner Landscape: Teaching Foundational Mind-Body Practices

Discover the Inner Compass, a framework of four foundational mind-body practices for presence and change. This lesson explores meditation/mindfulness, breath practice, somatics/interoception, and visualization/imagery, teaching you to discern whether clients need acceptance or change in each moment.

Module 7: Nourishing the Whole: The Role of Lifestyle in Mental Health & Well-Being

Learn how therapists can ethically support clients in exploring lifestyle practices while remaining within professional scope. This lesson covers movement research showing significant mental health benefits and provides guidance on both lifestyle movement and incorporating gentle movement into therapy sessions.

Module 8: Clinical Applications & Guided Practices

Access guided practice videos to support your personal embodiment and skill development. This module includes foundational breath practices, movement exercises, and body awareness techniques designed to deepen your understanding and prepare you to guide clients through whole health interventions.

Hello, I'm Shanti

Every therapist deserves to feel supported, grounded, and confident in the work they love.

I created The Whole Therapist™ because I know how easy it is - especially for caring, committed clinicians - to feel overwhelmed when trying to bring mind-body practices into sessions.

You’re not lacking dedication. You’re not behind. You simply deserve a clear, thoughtful path that honors your integrity, your skill, and the way you already show up for your clients.

In my years of working with therapists, one truth has become clear: When you feel nurtured, trusted, and resourced - you bring out the very best in yourself and in those you serve.

This course is designed to be that kind of space.

A space where:
You can honor both your clinical integrity and your passion for holistic healing.
You can build new skills with encouragement, not criticism.
You feel deeply supported - as both a clinician and a human being.

You don’t have to start over. You don’t have to be someone else.

You already have the heart of a Whole Therapist.

Now, let’s build the skills to match.

I can’t wait to meet you inside.

The next round launches early Fall 2025

And honestly? You're going to want to be first in line.

I know, I know. Another waitlist. But this one's different because while you're waiting, you're not just... waiting. You're getting the good stuff.

Why early Fall 2025 matters

This isn't just another course launch date I picked out of thin air. I've been refining this program based on feedback from our beta cohort (who absolutely loved it, by the way), and early fall gives me time to make it even better for you.

Plus, let's be real - early fall means you can dive in without the holiday chaos. Just you, your curiosity about integrative approaches, and a community of therapists who get it.

Ready to claim your spot?

Pop your info below and I'll keep you in the loop with everything you need to know. No spam, no overwhelm - just the good stuff delivered right to your inbox.

P.S. - I might be a little bit sassier in my emails than most therapy educators. Consider yourself warned (and hopefully delighted). 😉

Questions therapists ask

How is this different from other courses?

This course integrates holistic practices such as mindfulness, breathwork, and movement into clinical work, giving therapists tools grounded in science and trauma-informed care. It teaches more than what to offer clients. It teaches how to offer these practices effectively, helping clients make small, sustainable changes through rituals and consistent habits. With practical tools like activity logs and apps, you'll be equipped to guide clients toward lasting, positive shifts while maintaining ongoing support.

I'm an early-career therapist. Is this too advanced for me?

This course is designed for therapists at every stage of their career. Most therapists say they wish they'd had these skills earlier.

Will this approach work with my existing therapeutic modality?

Yes. The integration framework is designed to complement your existing approach, not replace it. Whether you practice CBT, psychodynamic therapy, EMDR, IFS, DBT, or another modality, these techniques strengthen your ability to help clients regulate and integrate their experiences.

How much time will I need to implement what I learn?

The holistic interventions in this course are designed to be incorporated gradually into your practice. The early modules lay the foundation, and the final modules focus on specific skills that clinicians are encouraged, and supported, to put into practice the very next day.

Can I earn CE credits for this course?

Yes. This training is approved for up to 10 CE hours, including 2 Ethics CE credits, for LCSW, LAC, LCPC, LMFT, LMSW, LBSW, and CBHPSS professionals, in partnership with the NASW Montana Chapter. To receive CE credits, you must enroll through the NASW Institute website.

Will this be available for CE credits in the future?

While this founding session doesn't include CE credits, future iterations of the course will offer continuing education credits. As a founding member, you'll receive priority access and special pricing when the CE version launches.

When and where does the course take place?

The course runs for 5 weeks, with live sessions held online every Monday from 12:00 PM to 12:55 PM.

The sessions will begin on May 12th and continue on May 19th, June 2nd, June 9th, and June 16th.

You'll be able to join from the comfort of your own space—just bring your curiosity, a notebook, and a willingness to engage
